Continental Philosophy

This chapter focuses on books published in the field of Continental Philosophy in 2006 and is divided into two sections: 1. The ‘Deleuze Effect’: An Ethics of Life, a Revolution of Desire, a Philosophy of History; 2. The Rehabilitation of Materialism in Post-Lacanian Psychoanalysis and its Polemical Implications for the Politics of Exception: Zizek, Badiou, Rancière. Section 1 is by Maria Margaroni; section 2 is by Marios Constantinou.
